Joe Krings turns trees into art, creating eagles, bears and wildlife

Art is in the eye of the beholder — and in the holder of a chainsaw.

Joe Krings, who grew up just north of Lindsay, wields a chainsaw the way some artists use a paint brush. He creates amazing sculptures from trees, turning them into bears or eagles or even witches.
