Defenders put pressure on for pair of wins

If you can’t handle the Archangels pressure, you’re in for a long night.

The Defenders’ defense put the clamps on Randolph Friday night racing out to a 27-2 first quarter lead and finished with a 56-12 win.

“What I’m after is winning every possession,” head coach Bryan Reichmuth said. “Obviously, we were the better team, but I’m looking for domination. When our starters are out I want to be dominate on every possession, both offense and defense. I thought we accomplished that tonight. It was a complete first half, just phenomenal offensively and defensively no matter who we played. We played all 12 girls tonight. The second half I limited what they could do defensively just to be respectful, and I thought they played harder than us.”
