The Humphrey-Lindsay girls ran their win streak to three Monday afternoon, downing Shelby/ Rising City 67-18 win in the opening round of the Bulldogs Holiday Tournament at the Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center in Lindsay.

Despite not playing for more than a week and almost one week since their last practice, head coach Kandee Hanzel said her team had good energy.

“I was happy they weren’t huffing and puffing,” she said. “I don’t know how fast Shelby/ Rising City is, but I didn’t think felt like we had any Christmas legs. Whether or not that was because of our opponent, I don’t know, but they said they didn’t feel tired when they came off the court.”
