Archangels rallied in the second half against Wynot Dec. 30 to claim third place in the Crofton Holiday Tournament.
The Defenders trailed 26-23 at halftime, but outscored the Blue Devils 8-4 in the third to take a 34-27 lead, and then sealed the win with a 16-11 fourth quarter advantage.
Jayda Krings led the effort with 17 points, five assists and four rebounds. Whitney Wegener recorded her second straight double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Kalie Jarosz controlled the boards, grabbing 14 rebounds to go along with six popinjays and six steals.
