Ribbon cutting ceremony celebrates project

Community leaders, project partners, and residents gathered Thursday to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the Lindsay Event Center, marking the completion of a multi-phase community facility project led by Lindsay Area Development and designed to serve Lindsay and the surrounding region.

The initial portion was completed in September 2025, which encompassed the Bank of Lindsay Wellness Center, FCA Lindsay Fitness Center, and Lindsay Public Library, all intentionally designed to function through a shared-use model. A parallel project that was completed in December 2024 was the construction of Lindsay Academy Jr./Sr. High School and is adjacent to the Event and Wellness Center. With the completion of the Lindsay Event Center the long-term vision for a connected, community- centered facility serving residents, and the surrounding region is now fully realized.
