Adding signs point to safer roads in Lindsay

The Village of Lindsay Board of Trustees is trying to make its streets a little safer by regulating traffic.

Board members met with Justin Laudenklos, Platte County highway superintendent, Joe Ott of District No. 4 and Ron Reilly District No. 6, about getting Platte County involved in safety concerns at Highway 91, where the pavement meets the state highway.

Laudenklos said it has a state stop sign, but they are going to install a “stop ahead” sign and a solar flashing light on top of the sign.
