A Quilt of Valor was awarded to eight veterans, all of whom are descendants of Harvey and Avis Koch, formally of Creston.
Three Veterans present for the award presentation were FCCS (SW) Trae D. Machmueller USN, currently on Active Duty; San Diego, Calif.; Sgt. Lonny R. Koch, U.S. Army, Lincoln; and PVT James C. Arlt, U.S. Army National Guard, Ashland.
EMC (SW) George C. Ternus USN Retired, Creston, and LCPL Jody J. Koch, US Marines, Columbus, were awarded their quilts during previous presentations.
