The Archangels boys worked overtime Saturday, but earned a 59-57 win over Fullerton to win the Goldenrod Conference championship at Greeley.
The Defenders outscored the Warriors 6-4 in the extra period to win the title.
The game was tight throughout with the Defenders leading 10-8 after the first and 27-26 at halftime. Fullerton took a 41-40 lead heading to the fourth where Archangels tied it to send it into overtime.
