They were right there.

The Humphrey-Lindsay boys fought their way back to take a lead against Twin River, but the Titans pulled away in the fourth to win 73-60 at the Lindsay Event Center Thursday.

“It just felt like a game of missed opportunities,” he said. “How many layups did we miss, at least eight, there’s 16 points right there, and it felt like they didn’t miss a lot of free throws, like they were over 70 percent (18 of 23 for 75 percent), and we were under 50 percent. I know they had two guys who barely made the scouting report, one kid banked a 3, one had a 3 at the end of the quarter, guys who don’t typically make shots, made them, so it was just their night.”
