On behalf of the Humphrey Community Club, we would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us Saturday evening for the comedy show (comedian Tammy Pescatelli) and live music. We got a lot of good feedback, comments, and suggestions which is instrumental towards trying to improve future events like this and others.
However, we (Humphrey Community Club) were disappointed in the lack of local support overall. Attendance was about 50 percent of what we expected and of the estimated 100 attendees, 75 percent were from out of town and some coming from as far as Sioux City, Iowa, and Griswald, Iowa. Comments from one of the attendees were “It was a great night. We wish the community would get behind events like this more, that way you could do more of it in the future. We loved the entertainment you had tonight.”
Other comments were along the lines of, “Wow what a great show, too bad more people didn’t show up.”
