I’ve always found it unsettling to look through someone’s home and possessions after they passed, and I felt all of that and more when my family and I went through my brother’s home.
David died Feb. 14, and my wife, Kelly, and I traveled to Arizona, and met my sister and nephew and went through his home and its contents.
It felt odd to be there, especially since I had never been to his home before, but finding the personal possessions he kept was both heartwarming and difficult.
