A switch in defense turned an Archangels deficit into a rout and a trip to the Class D-2 semifinals.
Head coach Bryan Reichmuth said his team went to a 1-3-1 defense that turned the game, and lifted the Defenders to a 55-33 win March 4 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
“We made a few shots to open up the second half, and we switched to a 1-3-1 zone defense, which really gave them problems,” Reichmuth said.
