Patrons at Monroe ask to wait to decide on ending townships, changing gov’t

There is a call to delay the vote on ending township boards and changing county government.

At Monroe April 7, members of the Platte County Board of Supervisors and highway department heard from patrons about the resolution that would start the process of terminating township boards and changing the county form of government from supervisors to commissioners.
