Schneider, Krings receive Legion, Auxiliary scholarships

Humphrey American Legion Foltz-Zuerlein Post 80 and the Humphrey American Legion Auxiliary have teamed together this year to offer two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors from the two Humphrey High Schools.

The funding for the scholarships comes from the annual Poultry Bingo event sponsored by the American Legion Post 80 and the Humphrey Auxiliary during the Thanksgiving Holiday season. This is one of the many ways that the Humphrey American Legion Post 80 and the Humphrey American Legion Auxiliary give back to the community that supports them.

The two graduating seniors this year that were awarded scholarships are Colter Schneider from Humphrey Public High School and Jayda Krings from Humphrey Archangels Catholic High School.
