Boards say ending townships costly, hurt service
Representatives from every Platte County township were contacted for comment using the contact information provided to the Humphrey Democrat. These are the townships that responded by press time.
Jack Luedtke, chairman of Creston Township, said he’s been trying to get work done in the area for years, and if townships are eliminated, he’s worried that issue will grow.
