The first day of school marks the first step toward a new school.
On Friday, Aug. 14, Humphrey Public School officials will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 7-12 building at 9:30 a.m. on the site of the new school at the west end of Chestnut Street.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
