I’ve reached the point of lasts.
Last week I covered my last back-to-school events, this will be my last football season, last volleyball games, and at some point my last village board, school board and city council meetings.
The number of everything I’ve covered for 14-plus years are counting down, and in a year I’ll no longer hear firsthand what the school boards or local governments are discussing. I’ll be a reader, just like all of you.
