A ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of 9/11/2001 is planned for Higgins Memorial in Columbus.
On Friday, Sept. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Freedom Eagle monument in the Higgins Memorial there will be a 25th anniversary commemoration and wreath laying in remembrance of 9/11/2001.
The event is sponsored by the David City Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Platte County Visitors Bureau and the Andrew Jackson Higgins Memorial Foundation.
