The Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs opened up their season at the Wisner-Pilger meet Thursday.
The meet is usually held at the Beemer golf course in the afternoon, but due to the heat, it was rescheduled to the morning and ran in the park in Wisner, providing some much-needed shade and a new experience for the runners.
There were 26 teams represented in Wisner, with more than 150 runners.
