The Wisner Cross Country Meet, originally scheduled for Thursday afternoon was moved to the morning due to forecasts of high temperatures and heat indexes. Additionally, the venue shifted from the Beemer Golf Course to the park in Wisner, providing runners with a shaded course that was greatly appreciated.
In the girls' race, freshman Brisa Reigle took 8th place out of 79 runners with an impressive time of 21:24.5 and setting the school record for the meet. Sophomore Claire Wegener did not participate in this meet.
In the boys' race, Senior Jaiden Anderson claimed first place with a standout time of 17:14.40, competing against nearly 100 runners, also setting the school and meet record. Freshman Easton Noonan finished 47th with a time of 20:55. Junior Daven Zach did not run.
