School accused of violating Nebraska Fair Employment Practices Act
Attorneys for Archangels Catholic High School are asking a Platte County judge to throw out a lawsuit brought by a former employee, arguing that federal constitutional protections grant religious schools absolute authority over their ministerial staff.
Attorneys representing Archangels, Patrick M. Flood and Sydney M. Grad of Omaha, filed a motion to dismiss Thursday, Sept. 2, in the District Court of Platte County.
