Archangels Catholic High School cross country runners delivered outstanding performances at the Norfolk Catholic Invite held at Skyview Lake, with two athletes breaking school records on one of the season’s most challenging courses amid runners from class C and D.
Senior Jaiden Anderson medaled in 5th place with a time of 17:10 in the 5000-meter race, breaking his own school record. Freshman Brisa Reigle also made history, medaling 13th with a time of 22:56 to set a new school record for the girls’ 5000 meters.
“This course is known for its hills and difficulty, second only to the UNK course we face,” noted coach Denise Brockhaus. “To see our athletes break records under these conditions speaks to their dedication to their training.”
