Cornhusker Public Power District welcomes two new hires Jeff Hubbell, P.E., was hired as Engineering and Planning Director at CPPD on June 15, 2026.
Raised on his family farm near Spearville, Kan., Jeff learned the values of hard work, dedication, and community from an early age. After graduating from Kansas State University, he returned to his hometown and began his career with Victory Electric Cooperative. Over the next 12 years, he served in a variety of leadership roles, starting as an Electrical Engineer and more recently transitioning into the Manager of Engineering.
Jeff and his wife are proud parents of two boys, and family remains at the center of his life. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, building meaningful relationships, and making the most of opportunities to connect with those around him.
