Valero Benefit for Children awards $5,000 to BCHS Pediatric Therapy

Boone County Health Center (BCHC) has received a $5,000 grant from the Valero Benefit for Children to support its growing Pediatric Therapy program.

The funding will help purchase specialized equipment and sensory tools for BCHC’s occupational, physical and speech therapy services, helping children build strength, coordination, communication, motor skills and independence.

Since its inception just over a year and a half ago, BCHC’s Pediatric Therapy program has served more than 60 children, with referrals continuing to grow.
