Wayne State College Athletics is proud to announce the establishment of the State Nebraska Bank & Trust Endowed Women’s Golf Scholarship, furthering the bank’s longstanding commitment to Wayne State College, the Wayne State Foundation, and Wildcat student-athletes.
The new scholarship represents the latest chapter in a partnership spanning more than 100 years. Since the bank’s founding, State Nebraska Bank & Trust and the Ley family have contributed more than $1.5 million to Wayne State College, supporting student scholarships, academic programs, athletics and major campus initiatives.
“We are incredibly grateful to State Nebraska Bank & Trust for its continued investment in our student-athletes,” said Mike Powicki, athletic director at Wayne State. “Their decision to establish another endowed scholarship speaks volumes about their commitment to Wayne State Athletics.
