Lindsay man insisted on staying in U.S. Army
Vernell Korth had a chance to get out of the U.S. Army, but wanted to serve.
The 95-year-old Lindsay man was drafted by the Army and served from 1952-54 during the Korean War. He was already a member of the National Guard, and he felt a duty to his country.
