Carraher BCHS chief outpatient service officer

In response to significant growth and expanded services over the past decade, Boone County Health Center (BCHC) has created a new administrative leadership position, naming longtime employee Keri Carraher, RN, BSN, as Chief Outpatient Services Officer.

With 25 years of nursing experience and 21 years of service at BCHC, Carraher brings vast clinical knowledge, leadership experience and a deep understanding of the organization to her new role.

“As BCHC continues to grow, it’s important that we continue developing strong leaders from within our organization,” said Caleb Poore, BCHC President and CEO. “We had a strong pool of candidates, which we narrowed down to eight highly qualified applicants. Keri’s extensive experience, knowledge of BCHC and longstanding commitment to our organization made her an excellent choice for this opportunity. She knows our staff, understands our culture and shares the values that guide the work we do every day. There is something special about seeing our own employees grow professionally and take on new opportunities, and I am confident Keri will do an outstanding job in this new role.”
