Humphrey-Lindsay had two runners compete in the NSAA State Class D Cross Country Meet Friday at Kearney Country Club.
Klayton Brandl finished 71st out of 133 runners with a time of 19:14.9. Camilla Korus finished 31st out of 127 runners with a time of 21:52.9.
Head coach Joe Hesse said, “junior Klayton Brandl knocked about 15 seconds off his UNK meet time from earlier this year and he finished 71st. Making it to state has been his goal the last two years and he’s put in a lot of time to make it happen, so it was a rewarding experience to finally compete at the state meet for him.
