Retirement was short, but now the pay is more equitable.
The Lindsay Village Board of Trustees voted during its Aug. 7 meeting to give John Haynes a raise. The salary puts him in range of other area clerks.
In December 2022, the board voted to set Haynes’s salary at $35,000 a year, and it is now at $42,000 annually.
