The bathhouse was knocked down June 1, followed by the rest of the pool.
Removing the metal and rebar was the biggest challenge of removing the pool.
The pool, once one of the most popular places in Humphrey, deteriorated over the years, and there are plans for a new pool.
And the walls came crumblin’ down
In a few minutes the building started to crumble.
In a few hours it was almost completely gone.
In a few days there was nothing left but piles of concrete, rebar, metal and dirt.
The Humphrey swimming pool, a local landmark, is gone.
