St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Ashley Ternus

Ashley Ternus, of Madison, has been awarded the Neihardt Scholarship to attend Wayne State College in Wayne. She is the daughter of Glenn and Joyce Ternus and is a senior at St. Francis High School. At HSF, she has participated in one-act, National Honor Society for two years, three-time state qualifier in cross country, A Honor Roll for four years, campus ministry, serving as EMHS lector, track, summer one-act, journalism, writing for the Norfolk Daily News’s “20 Below,” speech, retreats and camps, for JC camp, Quest and TEC.
