Assessments OK’d for 3rd St. project

City engineer explains process; property owners express concerns, questions

Assessments for the Third Street South project have been approved by the Humphrey City Council.

The council held a public hearing during its Jan. 18 meeting, giving patrons a chance to comment and ask questions.

The assessments were approved for the properties and granted referrals for undeveloped properties, meaning those assessments will not be levied until the properties are developed.
