Bid OK’d for water line work

The low bid for the water line extension/replacement on County Road 460 was accepted July 19 by the Humphrey City Council.

Obrist & Co., of Columbus, was awarded the contract with a bid of $514,276. Work is to begin in the fall and be completed April 15, 2022.

The only other bid came from Rutjens Construction, of Tilden, for $177,527.
