Book Fair tops reading list for kids at St. Francis

The more books sold, the more credit Scholastic provides for the purchase of books for libraries at St. Francis.

Elementary librarian Julie Huettner has been in charge of the Scholastic Book Fair for 18 years, although it has been coming to St. Francis for over 25 years. She has a lot to do to prepare for the book fair. This includes, for beginners setting the time and the place for the fair, then comes a lot of advertising, having students fill out wish lists, and enlisting the help of volunteers to set up and maintain the fair during the school day when she is busy with the library or assisting classes in the elementary.
