The St. Francis and Lindsay Holy Family speech teams performed well at the State Speech Tournament Friday in Kearney. HSF, LHF speech teams earn medals at state meet

The St. Francis Speech team excelled at the D-2 State Speech Competition March 19.

Junior MarryRita Wegener brought home the Runner-Up Medal in Serious Prose after spending the season portraying a young lady who witnessed her baby-sister die as she is hit by a car on their way home from a walk.

Freshman Owen Weidner placed 5th overall in Persuasive Speaking, discussing the importance of preserving controversial literature as a way to learn from the past.
