Humphrey not alone in search for law enforcement

Humphrey is looking for a police chief, but it is not alone.

According to the recent job opening listings on the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center website, there are 64 openings throughout the state.

Alliance and Osmond also are in need of police chiefs, and the other openings include full- and part-time police officers, sheriff deputies, patrol officer and correction officer.

The City of Humphrey has had a couple applicants and offered the job to one applicant, but he took another job, and the search continues.
