St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Inspiring words

Angela Leifeld is inspired by God, and now she hopes to inspire others with her book.

The Humphrey woman recently had her book published, “Becoming A Woman After God’s Own Heart Encouragement for Christian Moms.”

“It’s basically about life experiences and how you can see God around you and how he works in our lives no matter what our jobs are,” she said.

Leifeld said the intent is to inspire women, who are sometimes so busy taking care of others they forget to take care of themselves.

“When you’re spiritually depleted it’s hard to be a good mom, so that was the intent behind it,” she said.

There are nine chapters in which Leifeld has used Scripture that is special to her and applied it to specific things that have happened to her in her life.

She said she thought about writing a book for some time, which is covered in chapter one
