St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

Kosch named to 8-man football hall of fame

QB on St. Francis first two title teams

He was the quarterback on the first championships St. Francis won in football, and now he is a hall of famer.

Paul Kosch was among two coaches, 14 players and one contributor named to the 2019 Eight-Man Football Hall of Fame.

He will be inducted during ceremonies Saturday, June 15, at The Tom Osborne Family Sports Complex in Hastings.

The hall of fame is presented by the Nebraska Eight-Man Football Coaches Association and sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Nebraska. Induction ceremonies will be held at halftime of the 42nd Annual Sertoma Eight-Man All-Star Game played at Hastings College. Kickoff for the game will be 6 p.m.
