City council promoting beautification project

Stop, and smell the flowers.

Take a stroll down Main Street in Humphrey, and you’ll be able to see what’s blooming

At the request of Mayor Lonnie Weidner, the Humphrey City Council approved a community beautification project at its April 17 meeting.

Weidner asked the council to approve a plan that would have the city paying for planters and planting soil for businesses that are willing to participate.
