Preister sworn in as Humphrey mayor

Bob Preister was sworn in as Humphrey’s new mayor.

He took over for Lonnie Weidner as the Humphrey City Council reorganized Dec. 21.

City attorney Dan Fullner administered the oath of office, and Preister moved up from council president to mayor.

No one thought there would be a changing of the guard during the Nov. 3 General Election.
