Kevin McElyea, of Aquatic Design Consultants, explains some ideas for what a new swimming pool in Humphrey could look like.

Public hears options for pool; survey still open

People want to know what the new swimming pool is going to look like, and they still have a chance to help make those decisions.

The Humphrey Area Aquatic Development Committee hosted a presentation Saturday at Heritage Park during Humphrey Days.

Kevin McElyea, of Aquatic Design Consultants, was on hand to answer questions and explain the process.

“Mostly they’ve been curious about what it’s going to look like, the zero-depth (entry) and slides, and I’m trying to inform people that this is the opinion-gathering phase, so I encourage them to go to the website,” he said.
