Schumacher: NDOT favors ‘J’ Turn at 81/91

One fix is quicker and easier, and the other will take time and is more expensive.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) held a second stakeholders meeting Sept. 12 on how to make the Highway 81/91 intersection safer.

The meeting was by invitation only at Pillen Family Farms- Humphrey Office. About 20 attended, including about six from NDOT.

According to Sen. Paul Schumacher, two alternatives have emerged.
