St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

St. Francis takes care of business, routs Winside

Tougher opponents await, but Friday St. Francis took care of business, dropping Winside 68-0.

The Flyers jumped out to a 46-0 first quarter lead, and both teams agreed to allow the clock to keep running from that point. Usually, a running clock starts in the second half when a team leads by more than 35 points.

Taylor Wemhoff got the scoring going for St. Francis with a 38-yard jaunt, and followed that with an 11-yard run.
