Mylen B. Wegener

Mylen B. Wegener, 88, of Cornlea, Neb., died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Prairie Village Retirement Center in Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial was held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey, and Father Patrick A. McLaughlin officiated. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cornlea. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Friday, and a 7 p.m. Scripture service, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday, all at the church. Mylen was born Oct. 14, 1928, at Cornlea, the son of Bernard H. and Dora B. (Brandl) Wegener, and attended Sacred Heart School in Cornlea. On April 10, 1950, Mylen and Loretta M. Herink were united in marriage at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey.
