Humphrey High speech team wins district championship

The Humphrey High Speech Team traveled to Bancroft for the D1-2 District Speech Meet March 14. The Bulldogs were crowned district champions while the hosts, B-R Panthers, were runners up.

Humphrey High students who placed at the meet and earned superior certificates were:

Tylea Thompson placed 4th in humorous prose and Michaela Brozek finished 5th. Ashley Schemek finished 5th in Informative. Will Whited and Triniti Gembica placed 5th in Duet. Hailey Goering placed 5th in Entertainment. The OID team of Brozek, Goering, Kelsey Eisenmann, and Autumn Bender placed 5th.
