Matt Dohmen is battling cancer, but a benefit in his honor proved he’s got plenty of support

If a life is measured in how many friends a person has, then Matt Dohmen is leading a good one.

The 30-year-old Humphrey man, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in November 2017, was greeted by a full house Saturday at the Humphrey Community Center as the community gathered to hold a benefit in his honor.

Seeing a packed Community Center, all there to support him, was emotional for Matt and his father, Joe.
