St. Francis junior Andrew Kosch, right, shot a 78 and finished as runner up in the Patriot Invite. Freshmen Jacob Keller, left, carded an 86 and earned the 14th place medal. The team shot a 355 which placed them 5th in the 15 team tournament.

H-LHF girls rally to claim NBC tourney championship

A second-half rally lifted the Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls to the title of the North Bend Central Holiday Tournament Dec. 31.

The Bulldogs earned a 54-49 win over the hosts by outscoring the Tigers 28-16 after halftime. North Bend Central led 14-12 after the first period and stretched its advantage to 33-26 at the break before H-LHF got it going in the second half to claim the championship.
