St. Francis girls fall to Clarkson-Leigh

A poor third quarter was enough to doom St. Francis as Clarkson-Leigh recorded a 53-46 win Jan. 11.

The Flyers led 21-18 at the half, but were outscored 16-8 in the third to fall behind 34-29 going to the fourth quarter. In the final period, Clarkson-Leigh outscored St. Francis 19-17 to take the game.

Tara Foltz led the Flyers in scoring with 15 points. Allison Weidner, Kayleigh Sjuts and Alissa Kosch each grabbed four rebounds.
