Edward "Eddie" Kresha

Edward “Eddie” Kresha, of Humphrey, Neb., died Thursday, April 11, 2019, at his home by Humphrey.

Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey, and the Rev. Patrick A. McLaughlin celebrated the Mass. There was a Rosary at 4 p.m. and visitation followed at St. Francis Church. The Vigil service was at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Francis Church. Interment was in St. Francis Cemetery in Humphrey.

Edward “Eddie” Kresha was born July 15, 1955, in Columbus, Neb., to Charles and Lucille (Danielski) Kresha. Eddie attended school at St. Mary’s of the Angels school in rural Humphrey and then graduated from Humphrey High School in 1973. He went on to attend Platte College and excelled in football. Eddie joined his dad in the family farm operation and lived on the farm until his death.
