Music Men

Members of St. Francis Class of 1969 kept the beat as Tangerine Vacuum

The music may have faded, but the friendships play on.

Seven members of the St. Francis High School Class of 1969 gathered over Memorial Day weekend to catch up and reminisce about their days as members of Tangerine Vacuum.

Members Lee Pfeifer, of Concord, N.C.; Dan Leutkenhaus, of Newman Grove; Sam Kruse, of Lincoln; Dale Wessel, of Columbus; Richard Krings, of Eureka, Calf.; Steve Albers, of Columbus; and Jack Werner, of Davis, Calif. held a reunion at Keith Krings home.

The band started while they were sophomores in 1967.
